Talc powder as a functional filler, coating and resin control agent and deinking agent is widely used in the paper pulp, paper and paperboard and other papermaking production fields, effectively improving the product quality and production efficiency.
Talc can make paper firm and white, increase the opacity and brightness, enhance the adsorption capacity of ink.
Talc has strong adhesion to pigment, which makes the color printing get good color effect. The addition of talc powder can effectively improve the retention force and performance of titanium dioxide (TiO2). Moreover, talc density is lower than that of titanium dioxide (TiO2). As a white filler, talc is superior to titanium dioxide, and the price is far lower than that of titanium dioxide, making the product more competitive.
