Principle:  

    Using the isothermal adsorption characteristic curve of nitrogen: at the liquid nitrogen temperature, the adsorption amount of nitrogen on the solid surface depends on the relative pressure of nitrogen (P/P0), P is the partial pressure of nitrogen, and P0 is the saturated vapor pressure of nitrogen at the liquid nitrogen temperature.  

     When P/P0 is in the range of 0.05~0.35, the adsorption capacity and (P/P0) conform to BET equation, which is the basis for determining specific surface area of powder materials by nitrogen adsorption method.  

      When P/P0³ is 0.4, capillary condensation occurs, that is, nitrogen begins to condense in the micropores.  

 

 

Measurement results:  

       The obtained data, through experimental and theoretical analysis, can be measured pore volume, pore size distribution (the so-called pore volume, pore size distribution refers to the change rate of the volume of holes with different pore size).
